While not as well known as its neighbours, Tooting, Clapham, Balham, and Battersea; Earlsfield is a popular place to live as it is close to London with journeys from Earlsfield Station to London Waterloo generally taking less than 15-minutes.
You can find out more about Earlsfield on the Go Earlsfield website and blog for residents of and visitors to Earlsfield, London SW18. The blog focuses on the area around Garratt Lane, with occasional forays towards Wandsworth Town, Summerstown, Wandsworth Common and Southfields.
You’ll find fascinating old photographs of Earlsfield at the Tara Arts website, it’s well worth a visit!
Earlsfield was once a working class suburb of wealthy Wandsworth and much of the local property is made up of medium sized terraces. Parking in some of these streets can present problems to people planning to move home and it is important to ensure that there is either a place to park or that a parking suspension has been applied for from Wandsworth Council at least five days before your move.
We undertake large removals and smaller man and van removals locally.
